Hi Everyone - Me (21m) and my Friend (20f) are both in our final years of University in the UK, Studying game development and Film respectively. We have both been considering the move to the US for a mixture of reasons over a few years, but only recently officially decided its something we want to do together. I will add to prevent confusion - We are best friends - So notes about Marriage/Partnerships will not be relevant to our situation. Additionally, despite our age - We are not party people! Neither of us drink very much, generally are not keen on super loud areas and are not the sort of people to go clubbing regularly. We are however keen to get involved in the community upon arrival as much as possible, so an area that would facilitate/be supportive of us is an obvious plus. We have done quite a bit of research already, planning to spend the last year of uni and the next 2 -> 4 years saving money doing either basic work or light professional work, depending on availability. Various family situations over those years will also contribute to this pool, planning to have around 8000-10000 (Pounds) saved between us.
